Job DescriptionJob Description

We are a Orthopaedic surgery practice looking to hire a Part-Time Medical Billing Specialist to assist with the day to day billing duties. This position can be remote with on-site training to start. We are looking for the right person who is self-motivated and does not require supervision.

 

Qualifications:

  • Healthcare billing experience: 1 year
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare billing processes, and insurance procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.

 

 

Job Duties:

-Resolves claims errors and reprocesses claims for successful payment.

-Researches and resolve difficult ERAs/EOBs.

-Answers incoming questions from patients and clinic team members regarding open account balances and billing issues

-Maintain a healthy A/R balance

-Post payments

 

 

Pay: $20-21

Job Type: Part-time 24-30hrs per pay period
