Malt Products, a family owned company for over 50 years seeks a Blending Technician for our production facility in Dayton, Ohio.

Blending Technicians are responsible for, but not limited to, following procedures to blend ingredients, operate the blending and filling equipment, stacking and palletizing product, maintaining high cleanliness and sanitation levels in their area. In addition, Blending Technicians are expected to preform a variety of tasks involving the cleaning of equipment and tanks.

This role will fill a hybrid shift - crossing over between 2nd and 3rd shift with expectation to swing either way to assist as tasks require.  Great potential for overtime with this role.

The role involves:

Working in a team environment in a manufacturing facility, 24/5 schedule;

Taking personal ownership to create a safe work environment for all employees;

Learning and following all procedures and programs which are a necessary part of producing food products;

Maintaining the safe, clean and effective operation of the plant and machinery;

Operating in a hands-on manner and be capable of learning how to operate the plant’s automated controls;

High school Diploma or GED are required.

Eligible for Shift Premium after successful completion of 90-day probationary period.

In Minneapolis, we have also created a new Innovations Lab which helps food & beverage manufacturers test ingredients, experiment with new formulations, perform sensory evaluations and shelf life testing and gain insight into critical flavor and stability properties.
