Operations Assistant for a Tub Distribution Warehouse / $20

Job Description:

As an Operations Assistant, you will be an integral part of our small, multi-faceted team, focusing on streamlining operational efficiency and supporting our mission to grow. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with Key Team Members: Work closely with the Operations Manager, other Operations Assistants, and Sales Managers to coordinate efficient order processing and production scheduling.
  • Order and Sales Processing: Manage sales order processing and forwarding to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Customer Communication: Handle occasional phone and email correspondence with customers for order and shipping clarification, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Logistics and Scheduling: Oversee shipping scheduling and logistics to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
  • Inventory Management: Update and manage inventory records to support production and sales activities.
  • Remote Warehouse Coordination: Coordinate activities at our remote warehouse facility to ensure seamless operations.
  • Cross-Training Opportunities: Engage in potential cross-training in HR and Office Management functions, expanding your skill set and contributing to various aspects of the business.
  • Project Involvement: Participate in additional projects as the company develops, offering opportunities for growth and learning.

What You’ll Need:

  • Location and Transportation: Reliable transportation and the ability to work from our facilities in City of Industry, CA.
  • Educational Background: A High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in administrative or operations support roles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows computers, Intuit QuickBooks, Fishbowl, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, & Excel).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
