Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Administrator to join our team. As the administrator you will play a crucial role in ensuring that residents of our community receive the highest level of care and support. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and standards set forth by either NYS Bureau of EMS or the Hudson Valley Regional Council. All directions and questions will be directed to the current Line Officers of this agency for clarification and direction. Interviews starting immediately.Salary compensated on experience and education.

DUTIES

--Completes tours of duty on shift as a riding EMT on the schedule. -Oversees the scheduling of all paid employees and making sure all shifts for paid staff are covered. -Maintains schedule to no less than 30 days out. --To be notified when a paid employee calls out sick or requires personnel time, you are required to fill position with qualified personnel. --Verifies and approves time sheets before forwarding to payroll. -Maintains timely completion of E-PCR's from all paid employees. --Maintains and ensures paid EMT's qualification are in complete compliance. --Ensures ambulances are always in response mode, completed Rig checks meet part 800 compliance. ---Must create and ensure employees complete BLS checklist at start of each shift and restock supplies as needed to meet or exceed DOH, OSHA, and Warwick EMS standards. - Assist all new employees to understand operation and procedures of all equipment on vehicles, the proper procedures and protocols. -Notify any of the Line Officers of any supplies needed that are not in the supply closets. -Able to utilize spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, email and any other database software in the performance of their duties. ---Uses above applications to maintain a filing system for information and preparing reports required.

REQUIREMENTS

-The EMS Administrator need extensive training and education in Emergency Medical Services, as well as strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. -Minimum of three years of EMS experience. -Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. -A valid NYS drivers license with clean driving record. -Ability to lift and transport patients. -CPR certified, and a current certification as a NYS Emergency Medical Technician. -Fema certifications for IS-700 NIMS, ICS-100, ICS-200, IS-800, and ICS-300. -Must comply to all training the agency requires, Sexual Harassment, Workplace Violence, EVOC or CEVO certification. -Ability to maintain confidentiality. .
