Job DescriptionJob Description

Continuum Medical Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) with eye care experience to:

·       Perform visual and diagnostic testing in both preventative and specialty eye care.

·       Provide a safe and comforting atmosphere for eye care patients of all ages

·       Prepare patients for examination, obtain vital signs, document chief complaint, medications, and allergies, and administer medications and treatments.

·       Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education.

ASAP for 13 weeks.

Must have 

  • Experience:
    • Minimum two years’ experience required as Certified Medical Assistant.
    • Traveler must have ambulatory or clinic experience specializing in ophthalmology, optical, vision care experience. 
    • Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
  • Licensure and Certification:
    • Certified as CMA, RMA, CCMA, or LPN required. 
    • BLS – must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY required.
    • Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA, CPOT, CPOA) preferred.
