AMMON Staffing is currently recruiting an Administrative Assistant for an Industrial Services Company in Geismar, LA

Job Duties:

  1. Answer phones and route calls professionally
  2. Greet customers, vendors, and visitors and set them up with their contact person.
  3. Distribute mail to the departments
  4. Filing away documents
  5. Releasing jobs
  6. Creating job folders
  7. Making copies
  8. Do miscellaneous projects for human resources and accounting.
  9. Coordinate all phone changes and additions.
  10. Update phone lists, etc. as needed.
  11. Receive and distribute all packages. (Including airborne, fed ex, ups, etc.)
  12. Keep track of changes and refunds for vending machines.
  13. Ensure the coffee bar is clean and orderly.
  14. Other clerical duties may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Administrative Assistant experience
  • Excellent typing/data entry scores
  • Exceptional customer service skills and clear communication in written, phone, and face-to-face interactions
  • Proficient in computer programs, such as Microsoft Office Suite and Excel

Pay: $18-20 depending on experience

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
