Our client, a banking institution in Livermore, CA is looking for an experienced IT Networks Lead to join their team on a 3 month contract to hire basis. Ideal candidates will be able to oversee and manage our client’s IT infrastructure, and software solutions to ensure the efficient and secure processing of member transactions and operations within the organization. This role is 100% onsite in Livermore, ca and the pay rate is $38.00 - $52.40 per hour.
REQUIREMENTS
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to IT professionals, ensuring their success as subject matter experts in IT processes and technologies.
- Manage technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues, while establishing and enforcing IT policies and procedures to maintain data integrity and security.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, such as data privacy and cybersecurity, including establishing and enforcing IT governance frameworks and practices to mitigate risks and protect sensitive information.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current technology trends and industry best practices.
- Identify and leverage opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance IT services and support business growth.
- Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments and branches to deliver optimal and efficient service to our members.
- Uphold a standard of professionalism actively fostering positive relationships internally and externally.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in an applicable field
- 2-5 years of work experience in a Specialist III or similar role required.
- Expert knowledge of programming languages and operating systems such as Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
- Knowledgeable of current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring.
- Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
- Excellent creative and analytical thinking skills.
- Certifications in MCITP or MCSE, VCP, CCNA, A+ and/or Network+ is highly desired.
- Proficiency in administering VMWare virtual environment and Storage Access Network.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and multitasking abilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- May be tasked with lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 25 lbs., if able to do so.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for moderate periods of time.
- Must be able to bend at the knees and waist frequently
- Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and a computer mouse and keyboard.
