Job Description:

Position Overview: As the Roofing Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing sales plans to support the overall company revenue and key metrics. You will interact and work seamlessly with customers, sales team, managers, and all office personnel. Your role involves developing the skill level of the Sales Team by providing training, coaching, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and targets. Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and adjust strategies accordingly.

  2. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to maximize individual and team performance. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  3. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including property managers, contractors, developers, and homeowners. Understand their needs, address concerns, and provide customized solutions to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

  4. Business Development: Drive business development initiatives to expand our customer base and penetrate new markets. Identify and pursue partnerships, alliances, and strategic opportunities to accelerate growth and increase market presence.

  5. Sales Operations: Oversee all aspects of the sales process, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure. Ensure adherence to sales processes, policies, and standards to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

  6. Performance Analysis: Monitor sales performance metrics, such as revenue targets, conversion rates, pipeline development, and customer satisfaction. Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and finance, to align sales activities with overall business objectives. Share insights, feedback, and recommendations to drive organizational success.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the roofing or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of roofing products, materials, techniques, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
