Responsibilities:

 

  • Plans, organizes and directs day-to-day production operations.
  • Develops and manages operations budgets; Wages, MRO, fixed & variable costs (packaging, maintenance, tools, supplies, etc.)
  • Ensures production capabilities meet or exceed standards and customer requirements.
  • Responsible for production output; collaborates with other department managers/heads for product quality and on-time delivery.
  • Assists in developing short and long-term strategies to reduce cost and improve supply chain.
  • Participates in and provide support for strategic projects.
  • Develops systems and processes that track and optimize safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Sets standards for performance targets to ensure an effective return on assets.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.

 

 

 

Requirements

 

1.  Bachelor’s Degree.

2.  5 or more years or Manufacturing Plant Operations Management experience.

3.  2 or more years of Steel Industry experience preferred.
