Job Title: 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector

Shift: 3:30PM-12:00AM

Pay: $22/hr

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector to perform quality inspections during the development and production phases of our programs and projects. This role involves ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures, maintaining accurate records, and providing critical feedback to various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality inspections according to established procedures throughout the development and production phases.
  • Review Device History Records (DHRs), Lot History Records (LHRs), and other quality documents to ensure adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), material lot specifications, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Assign, control, and manage General Load Numbers (GLNs) and Sterilization Load Numbers (SLNs) for products to and from sterilizers.
  • Release post-sterilized products in accordance with company procedures.
  • Provide feedback to Quality Assurance (QA), Operations, and Research & Development (R&D) teams regarding quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate records for raw materials, subassemblies, and final inspections.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Proficiency in inspection techniques and understanding of technical documentation, including mechanical drawings.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
  • Experience working in controlled environments, such as clean rooms.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems for medical device manufacturing, including inspection and testing requirements.

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in quality control within the medical device manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with video inspection equipment and other inspection tools is desirable.
  • Understanding of inspection sampling plans.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform moderate lifting.
  • Extended periods of microscope and computer usage.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
