Local national distributor looking for an individual to join our team to help service the beautiful Florid Keys Well known and successful distributorship looking for a sale driven and reliable individual to help with inventory management and merchandising who displays exemplary customer service and attention to detail. This position is a perfect fit for someone who is self motivated and manages their time well. This individual would be working with both small and large restaurants as well as grocery stores and independent markets in located in Marathon south to Key West.

Responsibilities for Retail Merchandiser & Order Taker

· Ensure that stores and shelves are stocked with the right types and quantities of products

· Display, arrange, price and rotate products in store

· Maintain store shelves by removing out of date or damaged products

· Monitor store inventory based on sales

· Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying items and products that will fit well with customer needs within individual stores

· Work and communicate with independents and corporate customers, stores, and home office

· Analyzing sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs

· Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customer expectations and company’s objectives

· Maximize customer engagement with product by creating eye catching displays

· Meet sales standards and metrics set by home office

· Passion for customer service

· Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position

· Ability to work efficiently despite being remote

· Ensure accurate inventories

· Communicate stock and potential issues with home office before they are an issue

· Weekly analysis to forecast potential inventory needs

Qualifications

· 1 – 2 years of experience working in retail or merchandising preferred but will train

· Excellent analytical skills

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Provide excellent customer service

· Required to travel, must have valid driver’s license
