POSITION SUMMARY

This position supports the company’s mission by providing prompt, efficient, and confidential administrative and Human Resources support to the CEO and Leadership Team as well as effective administrative support to additional personnel. This position reports to the President and has the authority to delegate.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Finance, or similar.

· Experience: A minimum of five years in a similar role including a minimum of two years direct supervisory experience.

· Skill, Knowledge and Abilities: Individual must possess strong mathematical skills, good computer knowledge including networks, Word®, Excel®, Outlook, Sage100 (MAS90), Timesheet, and web applications; strong customer service, exceptional leadership, organizational skills; and the ability to quickly plan and adapt to ever-changing situations.

· Working Conditions: Individual must be able to work in temperature-controlled office-based environment as well as able to work outdoors in different temperature extremes when necessary.

· Travel: Varying throughout the year based on projects, usually averaging 10%.

· Physical/Mental: Sitting at desk and operating a keyboard/viewing a monitor with occasional lifting. Able to manage stressful situations where there are frequent, competing deadlines with a positive, focused attitude. Able to apply logical or scientific thinking to wide range of situations.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Performs Administrative Functions including but not limited to: Manages an efficient and effective office. Provides administrative support to company’s personnel with any technical, equipment, or benefit need. Provides property/casualty insurance administration to company’s customers and personnel. Responsible for Management of Change Policy and all MOC forms and checklists. Also responsible for office security.

· Performs Human Resource Functions including but not limited to: Leads hiring and succession planning efforts for all departments. Assesses staffing requirements and fills open positions with qualified candidates. Handles all job postings and their responses. Processes onboarding for new associates to meet organization’s growth requirements. Directs, maintains, and coordinates all employees training.

· Directs, maintains, and coordinates all employees training.

· Manages employee benefits: enrollments, terminations, and event changes. Prepares and monitors the Human Resources budget.

· Cooperates with the accounting department with invoice approvals and other department needs.

· Keeps digital filing on track and audits to make sure others are filing correctly as well.

· Monitors Department policies and procedures, recommending improvements, participating with the company Leadership Team in establishing and implementing company objectives, and serving as a resource.

· Formulates and implements employee corrective actions as needed.

· Acts/behaves in a manner that always upholds the professional reputation of the Company. Ensures appropriate levels of confidentiality regarding Company operations.

· Exhibits behaviors consistent with organization’s core values.

· Communicates effectively to all, accepts, and acts on feedback, utilizes active listening, and makes/meets commitments. This includes verbal and written communication.

· Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.

· Completes additional assignments as requested by the President.
