Warehouse Receiving Clerk

A Distribution Warehouse on the Northwest Side of San Antonio is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of orders, maintaining inventory records, and stocking equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and possess strong attention to detail. Forklift experience is REQUIRED.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments
- Inspect shipments for damages or discrepancies
- Verify the accuracy of orders by comparing them to packing slips or purchase orders
- Organize and store received items in designated areas
- Update inventory records
- Assist in resolving any inventory or shipment-related problems
Skills:
- Experience with order picking and packing
- Proficient in using RF scanners for inventory management
- Experience operating a forklift is ESSENTIAL.
- Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations and measurements
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving and inspecting shipments
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
Pay:
$15/hr -> $16/hr after two weeks of perfect attendance and satisfactory performance.
Hours:
M-F 8am-5pm

Northwest side of San Antonio
