Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance
Technician to join our team at Antonella’s Wholesale, Inc, a leading cracker
manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will possess above-average
knowledge in electricity, mechanics, plumbing, and be capable of covering
production workers when needed. This position requires someone with a
higher skill level than a regular handyman, capable of operating power tools
and demonstrating a strong commitment to safety. Previous experience in a
food manufacturing environment is highly desirable, and knowledge of forklift
operation is a significant advantage. The Maintenance Technician should be
proactive in identifying and resolving technical issues to ensure the smooth
and safe operation of the plant. Fluency in Spanish and the ability to lift 50 lbs
with a certain frequency are additional requirements for this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment,
including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing components.
2. Troubleshoot and repair machinery breakdowns promptly to minimize
downtime.
3. Provide coverage for production workers in the event of absenteeism,
ensuring continuous plant operation.
4. Operate power tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
5. Implement and adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures.
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and
equipment inspections.
7. Cooperate with the production team to address technical challenges
and improve operational efficiency.
8. Interpret general electric and technical plans to perform installations and
repairs accurately.
9. Demonstrate a high level of alertness and problem-solving skills to
address technical issues that could impact plant operations.
10. Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance staff.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or
education is a plus.

2. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing
environment, preferably in the food industry.
3. Above-average knowledge of electricity, mechanics, and plumbing
systems.
4. Ability to interpret general electric and technical plans.
5. Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous.
6. Proficient in the use of power tools and equipment.
7. Strong safety consciousness and adherence to safety regulations.
8. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Effective communication skills.
11. Fluency in Spanish.
12. Ability to lift 50 lbs with a certain frequency.

Responsabilidades:
1. Realizar mantenimiento rutinario y preventivo en equipos de
producción, incluyendo componentes eléctricos, mecánicos y de
plomeria.
2. Diagnosticar y reparar averías en maquinaria de manera rápida para
minimizar el tiempo de inactividad.
3. Proporcionar cobertura para los trabajadores de producción en caso de
ausencia, asegurando el funcionamiento continuo de la planta.
4. Operar herramientas eléctricas y maquinaria de manera segura y
eficiente.

procedimientos de seguridad.

Requisitos:
1. Diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente; certificaciones técnicas o
educación adicional son una ventaja.
2. Experiencia comprobada como Técnico de Mantenimiento en un
entorno de fabricación, preferiblemente en la industria alimentaria.

3. Conocimientos superiores en electricidad, mecánica y sistemas de
fontanería.
4. Capacidad para interpretar planes eléctricos y técnicos generales.
5. Familiaridad con la operación de montacargas es ventajosa.
6. Competencia en el uso de herramientas eléctricas y equipo.
