General Position Summary

As we continue to grow, we are seeing a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as the Chief Operating Officer.


Key Responsibilities

Leads the planning and development of an organization's operational objectives and initiatives. Develops strategies and oversees the execution of plans to attain short- and long-term financial and mission-critical operational goals. Directs the development of the organization's functional capacity that will produce sustainable growth and minimize risk. Develops operating budgets. Establishes effective operational policies and procedures. Responsible for the development of functional or business unit strategy for the entire organization. Defines corporate vision and strategy establishes company direction and focus. Executes multiple high impact initiatives to achieve overall corporate goals.

  • Seeking a reliable, dedicated leader to effectively oversee and manage daily business operations.
  • Serve as an Executive to update and drive the execution of strategies, value creation, tracking performances and reporting into the CEO
  • Collaborate with directors, finance, CEO and VP to support company
  • Main support for operational functions
  • Well versed in maintenance, fast paced nationwide company
  • Analytical and process oriented to drive efficiencies and streamline decision making
  • Develop both short term and long-term goals for ops to assist in growth
  • Monitor performance of regions, company and P&L
  • Continue to build and expand relationships with clients
  • Set goals and objectives for each operating unit of the company and communicate effectively with all managers
  • Drive the company to surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives; identify and develop strategies to take advantage of new market opportunities, leveraging off existing capabilities within the business
  • Report accurately on performance relative to goals and on key performance indicators
  • Leverage technology to maximize efficiency, service levels, and profitability
  • Drive results through others while enhancing existing culture
  • Provide mentoring and coaching, and internal team building for sustainable growth
  • Worked for larger service organizations with the understanding of the necessary structure and processes to drive sustainable growth
  • Experience developing medium sized teams, and retention strategies
  • Travel will be required (30%)



Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 10-20 years of relevant operational leadership experience preferred.
  • Possess technological skills to include in depth excel performance.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large teams.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute operational plans effectively.
  • Proficient in the use of technology and software relevant to facility management operations.
  • Strong problem -solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required.
