- Service & Delivery: Ensure that service and on-time delivery indicators are consistently met to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Equipment & Building Maintenance: Schedule and manage preventive and breakdown maintenance for all equipment and facilities to ensure continuous operation.
- Waste Reduction: Implement and monitor strategies to continuously reduce waste generated by the manufacturing process.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly review the performance of staff, organizing necessary interventions and training to drive continuous improvement.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee and manage all aspects of staffing, safety, production, quality, inventory, and shipping to ensure smooth operations.
- Inventory Management: Forecast and maintain proper stock levels of all products and raw materials to prevent shortages or excess.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Plant Manager or similar managerial role in manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
- Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is desirable.
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) is highly desirable.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
