Summary

ICNA Relief’s Refugee Program is designed to rebuild, empower, and transition refugees by providing caring and compassionate service to victims of adversities and survivors of disasters. It is our goal at ICNA Relief to transition refugee families into resettlement and establishing a comfortable lifestyle in American society. ICNA Relief helps refugees and other newcomers achieve self-sufficiency and become contributing members of American society.

Reporting to the Director for Refugee Facilitation, the Resettlement Program Manager oversees the refugee programs and staff of the Reception and Placement Program, Matching Grant, and programs funded through Preferred Communities. The Resettlement Manager oversees the implementation and completion of all grants, contracts and activities related to resettlement services. Primarily, the Resettlement Manager is responsible for all quality assurance and compliance related activities and reporting via the supervision of case management and employment staff, interns, and volunteers. This role is responsible for ensuring effective and timely coordination with the headquarters staff, maintaining relationships with external stakeholders and local partner agencies.

Resettlement Program Manager Duties will include but not limited to

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily operations of resettlement services, providing guidance, leadership and direct support in all aspects of service provision.
  • Monitor the delivery of core resettlement services to ensure compliance with all program standards and grant requirements in accordance with the Reception and Placement, Matching Grant, and Preferred Communities programming requirements.
  • Oversee program performance evaluation, monitoring, reporting, financial management, and compliance for refugee programs.
  • Train and lead staff and ensure adequate staffing to meet all program objectives.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with leadership on the status of the programs, clients and outcomes and provide timely reports on any management and contract compliance issues.
