The Lind Institute of Plastic Surgery is looking for a personable, energetic, well-groomed, well-kept, and organized front desk administrator for our private aesthetic surgery practice, med-spa, and surgical suite.  

A successful candidate should have the following qualities:

•   Prior experience in a front desk roll in a medical office, preferably in aesthetics 

•   Must have impeccable people skills with great phone etiquette 

•   Outgoing personality 

•   Must be calm with great customer service skills (pleasant, accommodating, and attentive)

•   Must have the ability to create to-do lists so that tasks aren't forgotten and are completed by the end of the day

•   Ability to multitask 

•   Must be dependable and hardworking 

•   Must be sharp and accurate with data entry (chart entries, billing, payments)

•   Should be someone who doesn't repeatedly makes mistakes 

•   Highly organized

•   Have problem solving abilities 

•   Have the ability to learn and explain the services we offer 

•   Have emotional intelligence with lots of common sense 

•   Very detail oriented 

•   One who takes initiative and anticipates needs

•   Ability to be accessible, approachable, and friendly 

•   Excellent time management skills 

•   Honest and trustworthy 

•   Have the ability to prioritize duties while carrying out multiple responsibilities 

•   Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) (Bilingual in Spanish a huge plus)

•   Should be efficient with working on a computer (experience using Nextech electronic medical record/practice management a huge plus) 

•   Legally able to work in The United States 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

•   Answer multiple phone lines

•   Learn how to answer potential new patient's questions about the procedures we offer

•   Managing the providers' schedules and booking patient appointments

•   Checking patients in and out

•   Create patient bills

•   Process and enter payments into the practice management system 

•   General office inventory control 

•   Complete and accurately enter data into charts as applicable 

•   Scan documents and enter into charts as needed

•   Keep common patient areas tidy

•   Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office 

•   Nextech EMR (electronic medical record) experience a plus 

•   Accurate data entry with rare errors

•   Have analytical and multitasking skills

•   Very detail oriented with a Type A like personality

•   Be a problem solver
