Permanent residency in the United States is required for this position.

  • This position requires a minimum of a BS Degree in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4-10 years of relevant A/E industry experience.
  • A PE License or EIT in CT.
  • The ability to use Auto CAD and building design software as well as Specifications and technical writing and basic business communications.
  • This individual must have strong client relations skills as well as be able to support marketing efforts.
  • Travel for project related activities as required (5-10%).

Mechanical Engineer- Must have knowledge in HVAC system design, a part of mechanical engineering and uses the principles of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer to achieve it's primary aim.

Electrical Engineer- Experience with building systems design

Experience with National Electric Code and State Building Codes preferred

 

Description:

 

  • Design, application and accuracy of facility engineering services provided by the company.
  • Interpreting and applying all applicable codes, statutes, calculations or standards of design required for the successful completion of a project.
  • Responsibility for design effort on specific projects.
  • Supervising and assigning design work to company staff; staff mentoring and staff reviews as well as assist with staffing and resource allocation needs.
  • Provide technical design reviews and quality control on current projects.
  • Provide regular reporting about the current status of project budgets, schedules, and project related issues to ensure a project's completion on time and within an allotted budget.
