We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will focus on general AR support and assist with the billing and accounts payable (AP) process. Your top responsibilities will include collections, invoice delivery and upload, credit management, organizational compliance to customer requirements, and cash application.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Collections:

  • Proactively manage and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure timely payment and resolve any issues that may arise.

Invoice Delivery/Upload:

  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of invoices to customers.
  • Upload invoices to customer portals as required.

Credit Management:

  • Assess and manage customer credit limits to minimize risk.
  • Review and approve credit terms in alignment with company policy.

Organizational Compliance to Customer Requirements:

  • Maintain compliance with customer-specific billing and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure that all invoicing and collections processes adhere to contractual agreements.

Cash Application:

  • Accurately apply incoming payments to customer accounts.
  • Reconcile discrepancies and ensure proper allocation of funds.

Requirements:

  • Supervisory / Team lead experience preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting and enterprise collections.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
