Job DescriptionJob Description

The Maintenance Manager plays a crucial role in supporting business operations through administrative tasks, managing maintenance staff schedules, addressing staff issues, and providing courteous and professional direct interaction with prospective and current clients (Tenants & Owners). This role interfaces with every unit of the business and is key to achieving effective communication across the organization.

COMPENSATION
Compensation $25.00 to $30.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support business operations through various administrative tasks.
  • Manage maintenance staff schedules and address any staff issues that arise.
  • Supervise and manage the maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide direct, courteous, and professional interaction with tenants and owners.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects.
  • Facilitate effective communication across all units of the business.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure efficiency and quality.

Required Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE - Management Experience. (3 Years Minimum)
  • Experience managing staff (3 or more)
  • Have basic maintenance knowledge.
  • Familiar with Fair Housing, regulations, and laws.
  • Ability to create estimates and proposals.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Gmail.
  • Strong staff managerial and scheduling skills.
  • An honest, responsible, optimistic, and enjoyable demeanor.
