Responsibilities for the Inventory Supervisor include: 

  • Maintain accurate inventory at site level 

  • Serve as site leader for WMS training and best practices 

  • Manage the cycle counting program by executing timely cycle counting, reconciliations and any necessary resolution to areas of weakness that are identified in order to meet accuracy goals  

  • Maintain virtual and physical matches in each location throughout the warehouse 

  • Investigate and identify root cause of all shipping damage to include driving actions plans to prevent recurrence 

  • Champion and drive continuous improvement through communication and coaching associates to drive efficiency in warehouse functions 

  • Develop, measure, and drive inventory control methods that ensure inventory turns, FIFO, and inventory accuracy

  • Manage and train personnel in all aspects of the inventory control and allocation/dispatching responsibilities

  • Travel maybe required at 25% annually to other Sojo sites 

  • All reasonable other tasks as assigned by Plant Director 

  • "General business hours are expected to be 7 am to 4 pm with occasional weekend and second shift coverage required in the discretion of the Plant Director based on business needs"   

Qualifications 

  • Must have at least 5 years of warehouse experience preferably at a CPG company;  

  • 2 years of supervisory experience required 

  • Must be very detail oriented, have excellent communication skills and the demonstrated ability of succeeding in a matrix management environment 

  • Must have a positive attitude, with focus on teamwork and rapid problem resolution, the ability to interact with all levels of management 

  • Must have user’s knowledge of system software, preferably NETSUITE, RF SMART, and the aptitude to learn new software systems 

  • Ability to frequently lift/carry push and pull up to 35lbs is necessary
