Job Description

3rd Coast Salon is looking for a Hair Stylist to join our team. We are a boutique salon with an amazing clientele. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hair and beauty, has a positive attitude, and is looking to grow their career. We are looking for someone who is looking to be part of a team and work in a fast-paced environment. This is not a remote position, so we need someone close to home. Our ideal candidate is someone who wants to grow in the industry and learn from an experienced team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome clients as soon as they arrive at the salon
  • Answer any questions or make recommendations based on client’s needs
  • Provide high-quality, consistent, and innovative services using the latest technology and products
  • Maintain clean and sanitary environment at all times
  • Maintain professional appearance at all times
  • Maintain excellent customer service skills
  • Maintain professional communication with colleagues and other departments within the salon (i.e. scheduling)
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision or as part of a team as needed
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Attention to detail is key You will be creating clients unique looks that will last them for years. You must be able to execute precise, detailed work accurately with little oversight. We need someone who can focus on the details while also being able to work independently without supervision. We have clients coming from all over Chicago, IL to come to our salon, so we need someone who can pay attention to detail without being told what they are doing. Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
