Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Subprime Auto Lending Specialist to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of credit risk management and an ability to tailor financing solutions to customers with less-than-perfect credit. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial situations and provide lending options that meet their needs while aligning with our risk management standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate loan applications and analyze credit reports and financial information to assess credit risk.
  • Provide financing options and terms to customers based on assessed credit risk.
  • Negotiate terms of loans with potential buyers and finalize the sales contracts.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and circumstances.
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to optimize lending processes and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in subprime lending, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of credit reports, finance, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
