In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans, promoting social and emotional development, and fostering a love for learning. You will work closely with parents and other staff members to ensure that each child receives personalized attention and support. Additionally, you will maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, manage classroom behavior, and assess student progress.
If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for teaching and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of young children, we would love to hear from you. Join our team and help shape the next generation This is a school year position.  Hours 8:30-1:15 Monday-Friday and 8:30-2:00 on Fridays.  Salary starts at $23.00 per hour and is based on  experience. Additional hours available.
Responsibilities
  • Create and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans
  • Promote social and emotional development in young children.
  • Foster a love for learning and encourage curiosity.
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment. inside and outside.
  • Manage classroom behavior and encourage positive interactions.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • State certification or licensure for early childhood education preferred.
  • Previous experience working with young children preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, creativity, and a nurturing nature
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members
