We are seeking a full-time Legal Assistant. Previous legal work experience is not required, but applicant should have some interest in the legal profession.

 

Duties include a variety of legal, administrative and clerical tasks as delegated by supervising attorneys including scheduling and calendaring; file management and maintenance, legal research and investigation; evidence gathering; case preparation.

 

An AA or higher degree is a plus, but not required.

 

The ideal candidate will be highly detail oriented, work well on a team, possess the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines, work in a professional and courteous manner, maintain strict confidentiality, as well as exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills. Be proficient in Word, and be able to quickly learn Outlook, Acrobat, Zoom and billing software. Exceptional organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills are a must.

 

This role is completely in-office and does not qualify for remote working.
