We’re currently looking for an exceptional Vascular and Echo Ultrasound Technologist just like YOU to help us change the way healthcare is being delivered across the WORLD.

The ideal candidate for this role is detail oriented, puts patient care first, and fully understands exactly what a crucial role diagnostic imaging plays in patient care . Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, you will provide clear diagnostic imaging, using your technical expertise and discretion to get the complete study needed to evaluate the patient’s current health status. This is done by collecting pertinent patient information, capturing imaging studies to meet appropriate criteria for diagnostic purposes, and evaluating all captured studies to ensure imaging set is complete before sending for analysis. This position will float between all four of our offices in Metro-Detroit to provide the best care possible to our highest value patients.

*This is an on-site position. Must reside in Metro Detroit area*

When you become our next General and Vascular Technologist you’ll take on:

  • Collecting relevant information about the patient and procedure to provide the appropriate imaging
  • Performing General and Vascular Ultrasound examinations using professional judgement
  • Knowing exactly how all of the ultrasound equipment works and interfaces
  • Determining appropriate use of shielding devices and other accessories
  • Monitoring the patient’s physical and mental state during the procedure to ensure he/she is comfortable
  • Evaluating ultrasound images for technical quality and producing additional images as needed
  • Performing and documenting quality assurance activities to ensure all equipment is operating as intended
  • Doing other stuff too, because all of our EPIC Warriors are team-oriented and high-performers (two of our core values) who are always ready to jump in and help out.

You would be a great fit for this role if you:

  • Are a graduate of an accredited Medical Sonography program
  • Have 2-ish years full-time experience as a certified Echo and Vascular Ultrasound Technologist
  • Are willing to travel to all four of our locations in the Metro Detroit area to help provide the best care for our MVPs
  • Are capable of lifting, standing, bending, moving patients, supplies and equipment required.
  • Aren’t afraid to try new things and pivot when you see an opportunity to improve.
  • Understand that a mistake is an opportunity to coach and learn.
