Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Job type: Full-time 

Shift: 8 Hours (AM, PM & NoC)

Days: 4/2

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Qualifications:

  • Valid California CNA certification.
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification

Experience:

  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
  • Experience working with patients of all ages
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
  • Ability to lift and move patients safely
  • Experience administering injections and performing venipuncture
  • Knowledge of wound care techniques, including suturing
