FlagSource is growing at a rapid pace and is looking for an experienced Shipping Manager who will work closely with Sales, Production, Inventory, Printing, and Finance departments to meet schedules.

 

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role. As Shipping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the shipping operations of the company. This includes supervising shipping staff, coordinating with carriers and suppliers, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products. The Shipping Manager will also maintain shipping records, prepare shipping reports, and optimize shipping processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

 

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in using shipping software and systems
  • Knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Must be able to lift cases of 50 lbs. or more
  • Position requires standing, lifting, walking, sitting, bending, pulling and reaching throughout shift as needed
  • Exceptional verbal, written and visual communication skills in the English language
  • Must be able to work in extreme heat or cold temperatures in a warehouse environment, non-air-conditioned
