We are a dedicated team of animal lovers committed to making a positive impact in our community. We are currently seeking compassionate and motivated Animal Shelter Care Attendants to join our team.

The Animal Shelter Care Attendant will be responsible for the day-to-day care of the Kittens in our shelter. This includes feeding, grooming, exercising, and monitoring the health and behavior of the Kitten. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare and possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with both animals and people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily care for shelter animals, including feeding, grooming, and administering medication as needed.
  • Clean and maintain animal living spaces to ensure a sanitary and comfortable environment.
  • Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the shelter management or veterinarian.
  • Assist with animal adoptions, including interacting with potential adopters.
  • Follow all shelter protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of animals and staff.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with animals in a shelter or veterinary setting preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
  • NOT allergic to cats.
