3RD SHIFT NIGHT DISPATCHER (Sunday-Thursday 9p-6a)
TYPE: Contract to Hire; 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Sunday-Thursday
Pay: $23 per hour
WHY THIS COMPANY: Our client, a leader in the logistics field, focuses on efficiency and cost reduction for their clients. They provide supply chain support for a variety of industries with regional and local routes for locations around the country.
YOUR DUTIES FOR THE 3RD SHIFT NIGHT DISPATCHER WILL INCLUDE:
- Review daily routes and maintain updated status on all routes
- Dispatching loads
- Assign drivers based on certain qualifications and needs of the client
- Update Excel spreadsheet with route and driver information
- Additional duties as assigned by manager
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED FOR THE 3RD SHIFT NIGHT DISPATCHER :
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- 1+ years of experience in logistics field is required
- Experience as a dispatcher is preferred
- Must be organized
- Critical thinker
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
