Location: Mesa, AZ 

Shift: Thursday - Saturday (Rotating Wednesdays) | Work Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday; Off Schedule: Sunday, Monday & Tuesday 

Hours: 5 AM - 5 PM 

Pay Rate: $16.51/hour

 

Summary

As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our inventory system. This position requires a meticulous and detail-oriented individual who can ensure the security and accountability of inventory through careful transaction documentation, consistent process and procedure verification, and thorough system review. The ideal candidate will develop effective replenishment strategies, lead physical inventories, and manage cycle counts, including analyzing and correcting cycle count discrepancies. Additionally, you will be responsible for auditing incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure quality and accuracy, compiling and documenting all transactions for data entry, and overseeing the physical receipt, storage, pick, pack, ship, transport, and delivery of inventory. This is an entry-level warehouse role suited for individuals eager to start their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute inventory replenishment strategies.

- Conduct physical inventories and lead cycle counts.

- Analyze and correct cycle count discrepancies as possible.

- Audit incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and accuracy.

- Compile and document all transactions for data entry.

- Manage the physical receipt, storage, pick, pack, ship, transport, and delivery of inventory.

- Perform physical work such as moving material using a dolly or pallet jacks.

- Load and unload trucks.

- Organize inventory and utilize RF scanners for tracking.

 

Education and Experience

- High school diploma or GED required.

- 0-2 years of experience in a related field is required.

- At least 6 months of general warehouse experience preferred.

 

Required Skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data.

- Effective communication skills.

- Capacity to perform physical work associated with warehouse duties.

- Experience with inventory organization and utilization of RF scanners.
