Responsibilities:

  • Proficient with QuickBooks
  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Perform month end close procedures
  • Perform quarterly taxes close procedures
  • Enter data, maintain records, and prepare periodic reports
  • Monitor daily transactions and balance the company’s cash flow
  • Monitor vendor payments and conduct balance checks
  • Monitor bank deposits, summarize cash position, and manage cash flows
  • Prepare monthly financial statements
  • Job costing of completed contracts
  • Enter employee payroll and other financial duties as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in accounting/bookkeeping is a must.
