Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care, demonstrate effective communication and collaboration, and maintain patient safety. Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, a commitment to maintaining confidentiality, and have experience in home health care.
Responsibilities
● Utilizes principles of the nursing process to assist in data collection, planning and evaluation of nursing care.
● Demonstrates nursing knowledge and skills in the implementation of prevention, therapeutic and rehabilitative nursing care.
● Utilizes effective interviewing techniques; sets limits, and collects data based on specific role.
● Communicates and collaborates effectively with health care providers, third parties, patients and families based on specific role.
● Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of patient.
● Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or Physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
● Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol.
● Uses oral and written communications to convey pertinent information to members of the healthcare team in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree or Higher
- 3 years or more of experience in Acute Care, Home Health, Wound Care, Emergency Department (ED), Critical Care, and Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)
- Possesses American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio
Preferred requirements:
- 1 year or more experience in Private Duty
- Bilingual
Must reside in Western Cuyahoga County to be considered.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (no weekends)
