Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients following established facility policies and procedures.

  • Conduct initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments adhering to nursing practice standards.
  • Create a nursing care plan consistent with the master treatment plan.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings for planning and adjusting goals, objectives, and interventions based on patient needs.
  • Implement care plan for patients and lead group therapy sessions.
  • Evaluate patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to update goals, objectives, and interventions as needed.
Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
•

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credential from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained before hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at hiring time.
