We are seeking a Lead Paramedic to join our team You will assess injuries, administer emergency medical care, and transport patients via an ALS ambulance.

Job Summary:

• 16-weeks Assignment
• 24-Hour Shifts (Weekends only, either a Saturday or Sunday, based on the client's needs)
• Opportunity to pick up one weekday 24 hour shift per week
• Bi-weekly Pay Schedule
• Assisting A Private EMS Company Doing Inner Facility Transfers
• Runs out of a station, However, You Must Provide Your Lodging on your OFF days
• This is ALS equipped truck
• Preference is given to Local Area Residents.

Responsibilities:

• Transport injured or sick individuals to medical facilities
• Determine the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish first aid procedures
• Administer prescribed first-aid treatment at site of emergency, or in specially equipped vehicle
• Monitor communication equipment to maintain contact with dispatcher
• Communicate with medical personnel at emergency treatment facilities

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an EMT, paramedic, or in other related fields
• At Least 3 to 5 Years of Experience with IFTs
• Experienced Working Long Multiple Consecutive Days On Shifts
• Texas Or EMS Compact State License (National Registry required with compact state license)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
