This is a 6 week commitment with the possibility of an extended period of employment, dependent upon contract award.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Translate requirements into wireframes and high-fidelity mockups that incorporate a visual/brand identity which leads to intuitive user experiences.
  • Support product vision by wire framing, sketching, and mocking up user experiences for digital products.
  • Identify design problems and devise solutions in collaboration with w/UX lead.
  • Utilize understanding of the latest technology and devices to produce technically achievable, scalable, and efficient solutions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Confident with Figma, specifically; this project does not offer flexibility to use other design software.
  • Ability to make smart decisions based on web standards and best practices.
  • Experience applying user-centered design, systems design, and interaction design principles.
  • Designing experiences optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
  • High degree of creativity, empathy, passion, and problem-solving ability.
  • Understanding of responsive design and techniques.
  • Willingness to help teammates, share knowledge with them, and learn from them.
  • Open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 years experience in UX Design
