Exciting Opportunity for a Mid-Level Test Engineer

Are you a problem solver with a passion for ensuring product excellence? Join our team as a Mid-Level Test Engineer. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in testing and validating component changes and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define Product Requirements: Gather and analyze product requirements, including functions, performance metrics, safety standards, and product and user environments.
  • Develop Test Plans: Create detailed test specifications, environments, and cases for mechanical, software, and electrical systems.
  • Execute Testing: Conduct thorough testing and validation of components and final products.
  • Analyze & Improve: Evaluate test results, identify issues, and determine root causes. Recommend and implement solutions to enhance product performance.
  • Document & Maintain: Document technical issues and solutions, maintaining organized, searchable records.
  • Automate Testing: Build and refine automated testing systems for both development and production releases, ensuring detailed notes for comprehensive future testing.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify that products and procedures meet industry standards, including UL, CUL, CSA, and FDA.
  • Collaborate & Lead: Foster positive relationships within the team, lead DFMEA discussions, and contribute to collaborative problem-solving.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-6 years of experience in test or reliability engineering with a proven track record in testing and validation.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills with experience in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with quality systems and advanced testing methodologies is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Creo/CAD and MathCAD or similar software for SPC documentation preferred. Knowledge of ASTM standards is required.
  • Attributes: Creative problem solver with a proactive approach. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
