As a Moving Technician at Content Recovery Specialists (CRS), you will play a vital role in managing and handling the contents of homes affected by fire and water damage. Your responsibilities will include the careful organization, packing and moving of items, ensuring they are ready for storage and transport.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Utilize an iPad to record and track inventory of non-salvageable items.
Use an iPad to document and track inventory of salvageable items.
Packing Preparation:
Prepare the packing area for the safe and efficient packing of contents in homes or businesses.
Carefully wrap small items and place them in appropriate boxes for transport.
Wrap larger items in moving blankets and shrink wrap to ensure their safe transportation.
Loading and Unloading:
Load packed contents into a moving van.
Secure contents in the van to ensure their safety during transport.
Unload contents at our facility and store them appropriately.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be physically capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Possess a valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
Must have clearance to work in the United States.
A clean background check and the ability to pass a drug test are required for compliance with our client's requirements.
Preferred Qualification:
Experience working in restoration or household moving industry
IICRC Certification
Have experience driving box trucks of up to 26 foot
Experience moving Residential furniture and appliances
