  • The Airport Guest Service Agent interacts with customers courteously, efficiently, friendly, and professionally. Your primary role will be providing friendly customer service to our passengers in our parking lots and around the South Terminal.    

What you'll do…

  • Work in and provide a clean, pleasant, and friendly environment for our passengers
  • Help assist passengers and customers with their needs in the Airport Terminal and parking lots.
  • Answer any questions, provide helpful information, or direct passengers to the correct person.
  • Protect company property and equipment through daily inspections and security checks.
  • Be able to read and write inspection reports using a computer or tablet.  
  • Perform South Terminal Landside inspections, ensuring the property is safe and free from damage and vandalism.
  • Use organizational skills to perform multiple tasks within a limited time frame.
  • Be self-motivated and require minimal supervision.
  • Respond and assist during security and emergencies.
  • Follow internal/external policies and procedures.
  • Work in an Airport location where you must work in various weather conditions and moderate noise.
  • Due to flight operations, the Airport Operations Customer Service Agent will work shifts that include irregular and/or extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Answer general questions and provide helpful information to our customers.
  • Management reserves the right to modify, change, or delete assigned duties.
  • Keep the parking lot organized for easy access and traffic flow – stand for long periods.

All you’ll need for Success… 

  • Be a team player who is flexible, reliable, and dependable.
  • Have a can-do attitude and have fun.
  • Have Excellent communication skills.
  • Have a professional demeanor and previous face-to-face customer service experience.
  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must fulfill and maintain Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) comprehensive criminal background check and fingerprinting to satisfy Austin Bergstrom Airport security requirements for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA) badge.
  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Have a dependable work history.
  • Must present (2) - forms of identification in which your name matches – for badging purposes – (see attachment for details)
