Job DescriptionJob Description

We are hiring for the positions of a Sales Project Manager, Sales Project Manager Assistant in our Austin Showrooms. These positions call for a full-time, hardworking employee who enjoys working with clients, multi-tasking with project managers and internal operations, receiving and managing projects to completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- greet and assist clients in walk-in or appointment scenarios
- assist clients with showroom selections to meet budget and design requirements

- assist clients with troubleshooting options
- continuing education of Alexander Marchant product offerings
- accurate data entry on orders, invoices and returns

- sales order management
- coordinating with vendors effectively

- management of projects from beginning stages to completion

- effective communication and updating of client business with all parties involved

NECESSARY SKILLS
- maintain a positive attitude & professional work ethic
- communicate effectively with clients, project managers, vendors, management
- attention to detail, organized, punctual
- able to think critically
- self-motivated, driven to meet deadlines

HELPFUL SKILLS
- passion and or knowledge of basic design and construction
- knowledge of general hardware

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- At least two years of customer service/retail experience.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree, or work towards higher degree in any field of study

SCHEDULE / HOURS OF OPERATION

- Full time, up to 40 hours per week
- Monday thru Friday, 9am – 5pm

BENEFITS / full-time eligibility
Alexander Marchant agrees to pay up to 50% of the premium charged by AM's health insurance provider. Health insurance eligibility begins 90 days after the 1st day of employment.

Eligibility to participate in Alexander Marchant's SIMPLE IRA benefits would begin after 1 year of employment, which may be non-consecutive. At which time, Alexander Marchant will contribute a matching, up to 3%, of the gross salary for the employee's SIMPLE IRA account.
