Brake Press Operator

Shift: 1st Shift (Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Company Overview: We are a leading metal fabrication company located in Taylor, Texas, dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services to our clients. Our team is growing, and we are seeking a skilled and experienced Brake Press Operator to join our dynamic workforce.
Position Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Brake Press Operator with a strong background in metal sheet operations. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience operating and maintaining various machinery and equipment in a manufacturing setting. This role requires proficiency in Press Brake, Robotic Weld, CNC operation, grinding, sanding, laser cutting, and other related duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Press Brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components.
- Utilize Robotic Weld systems for automated welding processes.
- Operate CNC machines to produce precise metal parts.
- Perform grinding and sanding to ensure smooth and finished edges on metal components.
- Conduct laser cutting operations for detailed and accurate cuts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall production goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of experience in metal sheet operations, specifically with Press Brake, Robotic Weld, CNC machines, grinding, sanding, and laser cutting.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly wage starting at $24+ per hour, based on skills and experience.
