Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for a Programmer to join our rapidly growing manufacturing team. In this role you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. The ability to create flat patterns from solid files, engineered flats for press brake operators.
To ensure success as a Programmer, you should have extensive experience working in manufacturing, an eye for detail, and the ability to work unsupervised. Ultimately, a top-class Programmer works quickly and efficiently, ensuring all products meet the specifications of the client. Experience in CNC and Sheetmetal is a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
• Ensure that the right computer program is in place to complete the correct operation.
• Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software.
• Must have knowledge of Mastercam/Solidworks.
• Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
• Adjust machine settings to the desired product specifications.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, adhering to international standards.
• Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
• Minimizes waste in materials, manpower, equipment, and other resources.
• Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
• Marking up blueprint drawings per findings, special approvals, material, ect.
• Inputting critical part information in the STMW ERP system.
• Competitive Pay (depends on experience).

PROGRAMMER REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have 2+ years of machining experience.
• Must have 5+ years of programming experience.
• Extensive experience with computer modeling software.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to perform secondary (2nd) operations include, but are not limited to Stud Welding, Countersinking, Tapping & Counter Boring.
• Ability to follow precise directions and work independently while sticking to deadlines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work after-hours when required.
