Accounting Clerk

HIRING IMMEDIATELY
Responsibilities:
- Invoice customers
- Make collection phone calls and e-mails as needed
- Manage cash receipts including bank deposits and posting of customer payments to accounting system
- Enter daily inventory into accounting system and assist with the monthly inventory process
- Review, code, and enter vendor invoices for payment and process weekly payments
- Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
- Assist with the monthly and year-end close process, including inventory, bank account and other reconciliations
- Assist senior accounting personnel with tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school degree; some college or B.A. preferred
- Excellent computer skills; experience in Microsoft Office Suite, accounting software a plus (Sage 100)
- Strong aptitude for numbers and spreadsheets
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
