Position Summary: Assists with production of power systems, maintains production procedures in compliance with company and industry standards and customer expectations.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with basic hand tools and fabrication practices such as drilling, tapping, measuring and calculating in fractions, wrenches and sockets, bandsaws.
  • Familiarity with computers and software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, File Explorer.
  • Have good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Be dependable and detail oriented.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of control panels including dimensioning and layout, mounting of components, wiring of components.
  • Programming PLC's following set requirements
  • Communicate with supervisors about changes, corrections, and improvements.
  • Tracking and managing inventory to maintain stock for production schedule.
  • Assembly of control panels onto finished equipment, including field wiring, cabling and conduit bending.
  • Assembly of finished equipment, including mounting metal parts, applying stickers and labels, cleaning and paint touchup.
  • Assembly and installation of small gas plumbing trains.
  • Occasionally aid other departments in the building of the complete unit as part of the production team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in fabrication, construction, electrical, or related fields
  • Experience in electrical wiring, control systems, industrial machines, PLC's is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials up to 25Lbs.
  • Medium physical effort equal to occasionally lifting or moving of materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit or stand, bend, kneel and reach.
  • Perform repetitive wiring tasks constantly using hands and arm.
  • Ability to see and handle small parts and wires of different colors.
