Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Jr. Electrical Estimator is responsible for reviewing, estimating and preparing electrical quotes and proposalsand implementing measures to increase the Company’s effectiveness and efficiency.

Electrical Estimator Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project
  • Determining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product
  • Preparing material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
  • Creating labor estimates for any project
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors
  • Managing bids from vendors and contractors
  • Using bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis
  • Presenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders
  • Compiling and recording actual costs

Electrical Estimator Skills:

  • Stable work history with 5 or more Years in Commercial Electrical Scopes of work and 3 Years of Estimating Experience.
  • Be understanding of the electrical industry
  • Excellent computer skills including a mastery of MS Office products, McCormick, Accubid, Autodesk, and Bluebeam bidding software experience,
  • Experience bidding large commercial projects
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a diverse, dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Good communicator
