Position Summary
This position is responsible for the Accounting department in Fincantieri Services USA (FSUS).
Essential Functions and Skills
o Create and maintain relationships with Clients and Suppliers, serving as the unique point of contact for matters concerning the Accounting.
o Monitor and manage the Client and Suppliers Accounting flows and milestones.
o Capability to manage Registering of Clients and Suppliers invoices.
o Capability to Invoice the Clients and process the payments to the Suppliers.
o Capability to create the Proforma invoices for shipping & custom purposes of the materials sold to the Clients.
o Capability for execute all the process of codification of the Clients and Suppliers into the business software for the company Purchasing and Accounting
o Maintain records for correspondence, documentation and databases concerning any kind of Accounting and in any phase of the Contract.
o Solve any Accounting-related problems of the Contracts that may arise with Client or Suppliers, but also internally to the company.
o Work closely with the Contract Manager, managing all the Accounting aspects of the Contracts till their end.
o Work closely, assist preparing reporting, participate tot the meetings and assessments with other financial departments of the Fincantieri SpA Group.
o Demonstrate a solid understanding of business and a high preparation in Finance, Mathematics.
o Holds superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
o Must have strong skill of time management, written and verbal communication skills.
o Must have consolidated computer skills and knowledge of common software such as Microsoft Office Suite ® (primary Excel, Word) and Adobe Acrobat Pro ®.
o Must have proper capabilities of learning and use of business software for the company Purchasing and Accounting (such as Sage100 ® Program).
o Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Italian is a plus.
o Capable of professionally managing confidential information.
o Exemplify creative problem-solving abilities.
o Exemplify strong attention to details of the business.
o Required to adhere to ISO and OHSAS policies established by Company and shall have high values for safety awareness.
Education and Experience
o Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar.
