Our company is a proud Second Chance employer that evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis.

As a Topline Technician for Sunstate Equipment, your primary objective is to ensure that our equipment is safe and ready for customer use. You will perform regular preventative maintenance and major repairs on a wide variety of construction equipment and deliver vehicle fleet. This position also required advanced troubleshooting on electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems, diesel and gas engines, telehandlers, various diaphragm pumps, and drivetrains. You may also occasionally perform field repairs or deliver parts to technicians in the field.

Requirements

Preferred Qualities/Experience:

  • Have some time as technician under your belt, preferably with a construction equipment background.
  • Must have the tools you need to do the job; your hands will only get your so far.
  • High quality control. Respect your work and make it known.
  • Solving problems and troubleshooting go hand-in-hand in this role.
  • Experience with Diesel engines, Electrical and Hydraulic systems, telehandlers, various diaphragm pumps, and air brake systems is required
