We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, particularly with government projects, and an in-depth understanding of engaging Generation Z audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create and curate high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and other emerging platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate and synchronize campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
  • Manage and maintain social media accounts, promptly respond to follower inquiries, and actively engage with the online community.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in using social media management tools such as Buffer and Hootsuite.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies, especially those targeting Generation Z.
  • Experience in creating visual content using Adobe Illustrator or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics for tracking website traffic and user engagement metrics.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Background in public relations or advertising, particularly in handling government-related projects.
  • Basic photography skills for creating original visual content.
