**Position Overview:**
As a Front Desk Agent at Holiday Inn Express, you are the friendly face that welcomes guests and ensures their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Your responsibilities include efficiently managing check-ins and check-outs, providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. With exceptional performance, you have the opportunity to advance to the position of Front Office Manager, leading our team to continued success.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, facilitating smooth check-ins and offering assistance as needed.
2. Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions, enhancing guests' experiences during their stay.
3. Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, exceeding their expectations whenever possible.
4. Manage reservations accurately using hotel reservation systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area, creating a neat and inviting environment for guests.
6. Assist guests with various requests, including room changes, additional amenities, and wake-up calls, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
7. Collaborate closely with other hotel staff to coordinate services and resolve any guest issues or concerns efficiently.
8. Adhere strictly to hotel policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of guests and their belongings.
9. Process payments securely and accurately, handling cash and credit card transactions with care.
10. Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Front Office Manager or Supervisor.

**Qualifications:**

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or hospitality training is advantageous.
2. Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
4. Strong organizational abilities and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail to address guest needs and resolve issues promptly.
6. Proficiency in computer usage and familiarity with hotel reservation systems is beneficial.
7. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
8. Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.
9. Knowledge of local attractions and amenities is an asset, enhancing the guest experience.
10. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, maintaining professionalism at all times.
